Jaya Guru Datta. Jaya Guru Hanuman.
The 2026 KSHT Community Walkathon for Charity was held on Saturday, May 2nd. This was the biggest turnout yet! This year’s highlighted organizations were Frisco Family Services and Frisco ISD Council of PTAs. Participants of all ages and abilities assembled by 7:00am at the KSHT Walkathon for Charity arch. The event began with the singing of the national anthems and introduction ceremony, including a check presentation to our highlighted nonprofits.
More than 630 participants, including many walk-in registrations, took part in completing 21 rounds (about 6 miles) around the Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple on the beautiful Saturday morning.
The proceeds from the KSHT Walkathon support various community service projects to help those in need with donations and sponsorship of students' college scholarships via Frisco Education Foundation, school supplies for Frisco Independent School District, food and groceries to over 3,000 international students at local universities, financial support and groceries to local food banks including Frisco Family Services and North Texas Food Bank while participating in events supporting local charities including Summer Lunch to provide food for children over the summer when schools are closed, Empty Bowl with Frisco Fastpacs, providing special grants for charities like HopeKids, Refresh NTX and more.
Our mission, to give locally and help those with need, is inspired and guided by HH Sri Swamiji 🙏
