    1) Is there a sankalpa to start the parayana? No sankalpa is required as it is a Likhitha Japa. If you would like to do a sankalpa, then use the below mantra:

    2) Is there any time of the month that we should not do parayana or nama writing? Rama Nama likhitha japa and Hanuman Chalisa parayana can be done anytime. There are no restrictions.

    3) Should we do both koti mahayagna or can we do only one per our choosing? Do as much as you can in both. Only through the participation of many can a koti mahayagna be successful. Make it a part of you daily routine. Also, bring your friends along to join and gain its benefits while adding to the count. We have to reach Koti (10Million) count for each of the Rama Likhitha and the Hanuman Chalisa Paranaya separately.

    4) Why should one use a box to store Rama Nama likhitha? It is convenient to store and the paper at home. Where posible, the box can be kept in the puja room. Also, when bringing your likhitha papers to offer and for puja in the temple, it will be convenient to have a box to carry them in an orderly manner.

    5) Should we write the mantra in English only? Any language can be used to write the Jai Sri Ram Mantra.

    6) Individually do we need to write one crore times? Sri Rama Koti Likhitha writing is a group effort and all individual counts together form Koti - 1 Crore times. Individually you can write as much as you can.

    7) Where should one hand over Rama Nama likhitha papers? If you are in Dallas please drop them at Front Desk at Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple. If you are out of town please post your papers to below address with attention "Rama Likhitha Parayana": 12030 Independence Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75035
